Aaliyah Dana Haughton (Jan 16,1979) was one of the greatest singers to me in a long time..Before there was a Rihanna,Jordin Sparks,Letoya Luckett whoever there was Aaliyah. Her voice was strong but yet so soft. She had many great hits but her stunning looks and outgoing personality will never be forgotten. When I was in elementary & middle school Aaliyah was the girl who you wanted to be. I used to get my hair done just like her, oh those were the days. On August 25, 2001 Aaliyah and 8 others died in a fatal plane crash, that was a couple of days before my 13th birthday my mom didn't want to tell me the news..Once she told me All I could do was cry..Now we have the memory of her beauty and her wonderful Music...
