Rest In Peace Lena Horne... She was one of the best singers around, she was also an actress & civil rights activist. She was born June 17,1917 in Bedford Brooklyn, NY she died May 9, 2010. She starred in a plethora of movies such as "Cabin In The Sky", "Till the Clouds Roll By", "Stormy Weather","The Wiz" and many more. She also participated in The March on Washington in August of 1963. She was in over 300 Broadway shows and occasionally was in different sitcoms such as The Muppet Show, Sesame Street, The Cosby Show & A Different World.
